Walter Depner, who served 12 years in prison for killing four people in a DUI crash in 1999, has pled guilty to DUI again after being stopped on the same road in 2013. He faces 5-10 additional years in prison for the latest charge. At least he didn't kill anybody this time. Maybe they shouldn't let him out this time.

Maybe they should just let the guy whose wife and three kids he killed the first time beat him to death.

They should just execute drunk drivers. There is no excuse for endangering others blantanly due to disregard and bad judgement.

Every time a drunk driver gets into a car, it is like premeditated homicide. They have to think that are suitable enough to drive and are willing to risk other's lives because they had a couple of drinks before they get in. I don't care if they are intoxicated and have bad judgement, they have to go through these thoughts before they even get in a car.

Not to mention that people who have a documented DUIs often do it more than once because they are drunk losers.

However, I am going to slightly "disagree" with you here. A DUI is classified in most states as a .08 BAC, and about 1/3 less for a chauffeurs licensed individual. Now, yes - this person is WAY off the mark, and should be SEVERELY punished for this. However, to make such a claim - that "they should just execute drunk drivers" shows how dimwitted and ridiculous this world has become. Why should all drivers that have a .08 BAC be instantly killed? Because the media told you so? Why is it premeditated homicide? Because the media (doubt they would even claim something this dumb) told you this?

Think for yourself for once. I will almost guarantee that you have had more than 2 drinks in an hour, or have averaged 2 an hour over more time. In this case, you should be killed because you tried to commit suicide and kill others? Hell no. You didn't have the "intent" to do that - that's the terrible thing about alcohol - it lowers inhibitions.

Have some fucking respect, and quit acting like a perfect angel. I would be willing to bet 99% of the people who drink recreationally have driven a car whilst being legally over the limit. While some would be inebriated by definition (not by law) - and some not. In other words, tolerance comes into play. My point here is, it's not fucking cut and dry - kill everyone who has made a mistake in their life. That type of thinking is more insane than getting behind a wheel after having a few beers. It's more wrong on many more levels than what this guy did. Wishing death upon someone because of a law created by man? Who are you to judge anyone - much less decide who should live.

I wouldn't have posted this rant if it weren't for your "genuine sincerness" of the post. It's almost as if you are a psychopath.

Did you seriously think that I meant to execute drunk drivers?

I'm frustrated because this inexcusable behavior is dangerous. The media has not told me anything; anyone can see that drunk driving is a serious problem and you should not be on the road even if you feel fine after having a couple of drinks.

The mistake of drunk driving should not be made in the first place. You know you had some drinks, you know that even small amounts can affect your judgement/motor skills — why would you even attempt to drive knowing this? This could all be prevented if people stop and thought about their actions for a moment.

I don't care how many drinks you have and I certainly don't want to kill you if you enjoy a beer, just don't get in a damn vehicle afterwards.

If you intended to drive later, wouldn't you count how many drinks you have in an hour so you don't risk being over the limit? If you don't, that seems like a reckless and thoughtless decesion. You are willingly placing others at risk for your own recreation.

Risking your life and others lives for recreation — That seems pretty "insane" to me.
